Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. They set out the rules that apply when you use the Pura Vida Escapes website and our rental inquiry and booking services for Isla Palo Seco, Costa Rica.
By accessing or using the Pura Vida Escapes website and our rental inquiry and booking services for Isla Palo Seco, Costa Rica, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or services.
We connect guests with vacation and long-stay rental properties on Isla Palo Seco, and offer related concierge, activity, and travel information. We act as an intermediary between guests and property owners and local service providers. Some listings are managed through third-party platforms, and availability is subject to change.
Submitting a rental inquiry or booking request does not guarantee a reservation. A booking is confirmed only when availability is verified, payment is authorized or completed, and you receive a written confirmation from us.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when inquiring or booking, and to be at least 18 years old and authorized to make the reservation on behalf of any guests named.
Payments are processed securely through Base44 Payments, powered by Wix Payments. Prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated. By completing a booking, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge the agreed amount to your selected payment method.
Currency conversion, where applicable, is based on rates available at the time of booking. We are not responsible for fees charged by your bank or card issuer.
Cancellation and refund terms specific to each property are provided at the time of booking and confirmed in your reservation details. Unless otherwise stated, cancellations made a defined period before check-in may be eligible for a partial or full refund, while cancellations closer to the stay may be non-refundable.
To request a cancellation, contact us at info@warmwinter.co as soon as possible. Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method and may take several business days to appear.
Standard check-in and check-out times, occupancy limits, pet and smoking policies, and other house rules are provided for each property. Guests are responsible for following these rules and for any damage caused during their stay beyond normal wear and tear.
You agree to leave the property in reasonable condition and to report any issues promptly so we can address them.
You are responsible for your own safety and that of your guests while on the property and during activities. You agree to comply with all applicable laws and local regulations of Costa Rica.
We are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from your stay or from activities arranged through third parties, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.
We may mention or help arrange services such as fishing charters, tours, transportation, and dining operated by independent providers. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or availability of these third-party services, and any issues should be addressed directly with the provider.
You agree not to misuse the site, including not to attempt unauthorized access, introduce malware, scrape content, or interfere with its operation. All content on the site, including text, images, and logos, is owned by or licensed to Pura Vida Escapes and may not be reproduced without permission.
The site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, regarding accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pura Vida Escapes shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any damages exceeding the amount you paid us for the booking giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Pura Vida Escapes harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the services, your violation of these Terms, or your conduct during a stay or activity.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica for matters arising from stays and on-site services, and otherwise by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the booking originates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
